Ticketing for agricultural shows and outdoor events
Multiple gates, patchy phone signal and a queue building before you've opened. We've ticketed shows like yours before. We'll take care of the ticketing so you can get on with running the day.
We know what a morning at the showgrounds looks like
The beginning of a showground event often comes with traffic filling up the roads, one gate that's busier than the rest, people wanting to purchase tickets at the gate and families wanting to add an extra ticket to their group pass.
Ticketebo can help the day start more smoothly by setting up your ticketing for online and on-site sales, being available 7 days a week and, if signal has been a problem before, bringing the internet with us.
Built for the realities of a showground
Multiple gates, one clear picture
You might have a main gate, a member's gate, a competitors entrance and a side gate that opens when the queues get long. All of them scanning at once, all of them selling tickets on the day.
With Ticketebo, every gate works from the same live data, so a pass scanned at the main entrance can't be used again at the back gate. Your gate staff at each gate get the Door Scan Manager App on a phone or tablet, and you see sales and attendance across every gate as the day unfolds.
And if you need to open another gate because the queues are worse than expected, you can log in on another device and start scanning.
No signal? We'll bring the internet
Showgrounds and paddocks are known for patchy phone reception. Especially when you have hundreds or thousands of people in one place.
Our Door Scan Manager App keeps scanning when the connection drops, then syncs once it's back, so entry never stops while you wait for signal to return.
For sites where reception is poor and you don't want to take the risk, we can supply internet for your gates for the duration of your event. Talk to us about your site and we'll work out what you need.
Ticket types that match how people actually attend a show
Shows typically don't just sell one ticket to one person. They sell a range of group passes, whole weekend passes and gate sales.
We'll set all of it up for you before you go on sale:
Competitor and exhibitor registrations
Alongside general admission, most shows also take entries: motor show competitors, show car owners, horse and cattle owners, exhibitor staff.
We can set those up as their own entry forms, collecting the details you need from each entrant rather than just a name and an email. Gate sales through our Box Office App integrate with your POS, and you can view gate sales in your Insights dashboard to compare online and gate sales after the event.
Which kind of show are you running?
Large regional shows
Multi-day programs, big crowds, dozens of competition sections and a gate operation to match.
Country shows
One or two days, a volunteer committee and one day that has to go right.
Field days
Machinery displays, livestock, demonstrations and trade sites alongside general admission.
Pricing
One low booking fee per order, not per ticket
A family buying 5 tickets pays one booking fee, not 5. For shows selling to groups all day, that difference adds up for your patrons.
No setup fees, no ongoing fees. Nothing for you to pay upfront.
