Online events

Sell tickets for your webinar, web conference or online event

With an online event, you don't have to worry about venue capacity or location. You still want to know who's coming, though. Your attendees also need a simple way to pay. That's where Ticketebo can help.

Ticketebo benefits

Why sell tickets to an online event?

Know exactly who's attending

A ticket gives you an attendee list and contact details you can work with before and after the event. You’ll also get access to Ticketebo Insights, so you can understand your audience better.

Sell to your whole audience

There’s no venue capacity to work around. So a paid online event can bring in more people, and at a fraction of the cost.

What is a webinar?

In its simplest form, a webinar is a live streamed video. One speaker, or a group of speakers, presents to a large audience. Along the way, your audience takes part using slides, videos, polls and Q&A.

Where Ticketebo fits in

Most webinar platforms offer pre-registration. However, they don't usually sell tickets. That's where Ticketebo comes in. We sell the tickets for your virtual event, and then your webinar provider delivers the content to your attendees.

How online event ticketing works

Selling tickets to a virtual event works much like selling tickets to a physical one. The only real difference is that your patron watches the content online.

The benefits of running your event virtually

  • No venue capacity, so you’re not capped on ticket sales
  • A wider geographic reach, because travel time and cost no longer affect the decision to buy
  • Lower costs, since there’s no expensive venue hire to pay for

We'll set up your event page

We build your ticketing pages for you, just as we do for any event. We'll also work alongside your preferred webinar platform, whether that's ClickMeeting, Zoom, Demio, GoToMeeting or another provider.

Choosing a webinar platform

We'd recommend a provider that protects your paid tickets. Demio, for example, only allows one browser per attendee. ClickMeeting sends a unique password or token to each paid patron. Either way, only your paying attendees get to enjoy your event.

Take your pick, because we can work with most platforms. That said, we'd recommend a provider that only allows one browser per attendee, like Demio, or sends a unique password or token to each paid patron, like ClickMeeting. Then only your paid attendees can join.
